The first step in configuring your browser JVM (Java Virtual Machine) is to make sure you have the proper JVM installed. Go to Java.com to check you have the right version or download a copy
Once you have the proper JVM installed it should already have been automatically configured. However, in Windows, it is possible that Internet Explorer is incorrectly using the Microsoft JVM. To rectify this, simply enter the 'Tools' menu and select 'Internet Options'. Then click on the 'Advanced' tab and under the subheading 'Java (Sun)' make sure the item 'Use Java X for applet' is checked |
